"I have been a customer of State Farm for years and I have nothing but the best customer service. Everyone in the office is so friendly and helpful each and every time I speak with them. A few years ago, an 18-wheeler hit me while traveling to Grandparents Day in Dallas. I called the office to let them know that I was in an accident. I gave them all the information needed, they walked me through the whole process. The also called several times to check on me to make sure I was ok and to see if I needed anything. That meant so much to me because they did not have to do that. I recommend to them to all My friend's family and coworkers."

I have experienced two significant events with my home and Mark has been the first person at my doorstep to check on my family…day or night! In both instances I barely lifted a finger. Mark and his staff took care of putting me in contact with reputable and honest roofing contractors, plumbers, restoration services and clean up. Most of which Mark personally contacted. "If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed. I signed up for insurance through Statefarm during the pandemic. I was virtually assigned to this office, although I’m a texas resident. I was with this agency for almost 2 years, and I never received a call back when I would call. They don’t answer their phones. I’ve sent atleast 10-15 emails and only received 1 response over 2 years. I was away at college and could not come in person. My policy drastically went up this month, although I requested the anti theft system discount which I qualify fir. I was told I was receive it via email (the only time they ever responded) and I never did. I did not receive a student discount, although I qualified. I had to request the discount, and was told once I turned 25 I would no longer be eligible. My brother resides in the same household as I do now that I’m gone from college and he signed up with Statefarm. I NEVER received a referral reward which i requested. Somehow, my brother, who is through the Kelli Ashbrook office, was named the policy holder on MY vehicle. Nobody knows how my policy got changed without me being made aware. Go figure! I went to Mark Oubre’s office in person today to sort it all out and the rudeness and lies I got was despicable!!! The woman I talked to had short grey hair and I think her name was Leah???? I’m not sure she never said her name and had no cards or name plague anywhere in the office. She told me their office hadn’t changed anything about my policy. Then she proceeded to accuse me of naming my brother on the insurance when I signed up. I signed up in August of 2020, my brother signed up in June of 2021. How can I change anything about my policy without having the agency approve it??? I have only inquired about discounts. What a joke!!! Then she contradicted herself and stated the policy was changed in January of last year to his name from what she saw on my account. Somehow her twisted story went from accusing me from signing up as my brother, to “somebody” changed the policy in January of 2022. She then proceeded to tell me I was not insured and was not listed although I have been paying the bill and getting a paper bill in the mail every month despite being paperless. So for a year, I have not been insured and I was never notified????? Why am I paying every month??? I’ve never received my drive safe and save discount, I’ve never received the theft alarm system discount, and Mark Oubre agency had literally screwed up my policy so bad I was shaking and fighting mad by the time I left. I asked to have my policy transferred to a different agent on the Texas side, with me being a Texas resident. Tell me why this woman had to call customer service to figure out how to transfer a customer when she’s supposedly employed and “knows how to do” her job, or so she told me. The lies she spewed and contradictions were insane. Stay away from this office. They’re horrible."

"I'm totally biased in giving a review for Mark... but shouldn't you be biased? Shouldn't you know your insurance agent? Shouldn't he or she know you? Mark's family and mine go way back. His dad took care of our pets (vet) and now Mark makes sure my family is covered for any situation. When my wife had a wreck, Mark was the second person there after me. Is that because he is a really good agent? Or is it because we are friends? Well... it's both!"
